York City Police Commissioner Michael Muldrow has withdrawn from the 2025 mayoral race, citing the toll it would take on his family.

Muldrow, who announced his campaign during the city's 2024 New Year's Eve celebration. Just over a year later, he announced in a Facebook post Sunday night that he is stepping back from the race.
